About The Position

The Project Management team is responsible for planning and executing Innoviz's large-scale R&D projects, which include numerous engineering disciplines, from chip design through optics to deep-learning computer vision.
The group has high project management capabilities incorporated with significant technical skills and is following all aspects of development processes that are governed and regulated by the automotive industry standards.
We are looking for a talented Release Manager with high technical capabilities to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Define and track the release process across teams
- Set the check points for the release and monitor the progress for meeting the milestones criteria
- Develop execution plans and iterations necessary for a high-quality release
- Long-term and short-term multidisciplinary projects planning according to automotive standards
- Manage complex R&D projects, both internally and externally.
- Coordinate and plan from system requirements, through SW architecture, SW implementation and system testing, followed by automotive industry standards
- Maintain and communicate with development partners and OEM customer to reflect the status of the development
- Lead interdisciplinary teams within a matrix organization
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for issues encountered during development, collaborating closely with development leaders.
- Work according to best practices of the ASPICE quality standard
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule to ensure that project requirements can be met
- Bug management - managing and tracking of RnD bugs
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role as a release manager
- Strong technical orientation in multidisciplinary company
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written – Hebrew and English) and ‘customer facing’ capabilities – ability to present and deliver technical content in front of global customers and company’s executives
- Ability to work efficiently in a multi-disciplinary environment with tight, fast-paced development schedules
- Team-oriented and good interpersonal skills, ability to work well both independently and as a part of a team
- Comfortable challenging peers and managers in a healthy and constructive way
- BSc in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science - preferred
- Automotive or medical regulations experience - preferred
- System engineering experience – preferred
- PMP certification – An advantage
