System Engineer
About The Position
Innoviz Technologies is driving the future of autonomous vehicles with its state-of-the-art LiDAR technology. Our innovative systems, trusted by automotive giants such as BMW and Volkswagen, are revolutionizing the industry and setting new standards in automotive technology.
The Hardware Qualification team, as a part of the HW team (R&D Branch), is leading the Qualification process at Innoviz, working together with all major car OEM’s and other customers. The Qualification process also includes interactions with all major teams at Innoviz.
We are looking for a talented and driven Qualification test engineer capable of understanding complex systems to contribute to the qualification efforts for Innoviz’s cutting-edge products.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and conduct hands-on functional and reliability testing of complete systems and individual components.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data using data acquisition systems and software tools such as Python and Matlab.
- Based on collected data and information, determine if specifications, regulations, customers’ expectations, and acceptance criteria are satisfied – According to automotive standards.
- Prepare and deliver detailed technical reports, presenting test results and conclusions to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform Failure Analysis investigations, diagnose failed components and find the root cause for the failure.
- Improve existing Python tools and scripts to automate the work.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field / equivalent experienced Practical engineer.
- At least 2 years of experience in product validation or similar
- Failure Analysis experience – Preferred
- Experience with analyzing collected data using Python scripts / Matlab
- Experience in operating lab equipment - Advantage
- Writing Python scripts – Advantage
- Great team player, highly motivated.
- Fluency in English
